Anne-Beth Schuurmans (Cie sQueezz) is a dancer and choreographer who shares her movement vocabulary with children and youth. She makes extraordinary dance theatre which engages children and their families, a terrain in which she has a lot of experience.
Anne-Beth is inspired by wondrous and inevitable life experiences. In her performances dance, music and visual arts converge in the beauty of common, everyday objects, which are often ignored in our daily life.
Anne-Beth made successful performances for toddlers, like Little Wonder (2016) and Carried by the Wind (2017). Unique and accessible theatre and performance art, with and for the toddlers and pre-schoolers, is her artistic niche.
