De Grote Haay, founded by artistic director Mark Haayema, produces captivating and surprising shows for the whole family.
Mark is a theatre maker, writer and actor. He has published 21 children’s books to date and writes song lyrics for Herman van Veen and Kinderen voor Kinderen, among others. Mark has appeared as an actor and puppeteer in shows such as De Boterhamshow, Pluk van de Petteflet, Meneertje Meer, War Horse and in the Dutch version of Sesame Street.
