After a very successful performance at Imaginate in Edinburgh, Hermit travels south to Lissabon for FIMFA-Lx (International Festival of Puppetry and Animated Forms).
On the 19th and 20th of May there will be four performances for school children. On Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd of May there are public performances at 11.30am and 4.30pm, all at the beautiful Teatro Luís de Camões in Lissabon. Book your tickets here!
The festival runs since 2001 and is an initiative of the puppet company A Tarumba – Teatro de Marionetas. It aims to introduce different styles of puppetry and a big diversity of techniques to the Portuguese audience (shadows, objects, full-view manipulation, visual theatre, etc.) and to bring together artists, critics and theatre programmers, creating relations between directors and public, arts and languages, theatre and schools, universities and institutions.
