Drip, splash, smack! A dancer moves through the space, followed by various colours of paint. Is dancing a form of drawing in the air?
A dance performance for children aged 2-7 years old. The dancer creeps, rolls, and twirls on a paper floor, leaving behind coloured traces in red, blue, yellow and green. Gradually, a colourful painting comes to life, not just painted with brushes, but even more fun, also with hands, fingers and the whole body.
“It was hard for children and adults to stay seated, everyone wanted to dance, slide and paint along.” – Stad Wageningen Nieuws, May 2022
The unique approach of DadoDans makes this performance fascinating for children of very different ages and developmental stages. All dance performances by DadoDans are ‘language no problem’ and deal with universal themes. This makes them very suitable for children (and caregivers) from and with various backgrounds and languages.
